Downtown Barrie is serving up big time Italian Flavour with the recent addition of Bite and Go Italian Bistro. This freshly designed space welcomes visitors from the street with it’s simple colour palette, shimmering light fixtures and classic style. While the ambiance draws guests in, the hospitality and Italian generosity is what keeps them around.

Friday Feature: Bite and Go Italian Bistro
With our new restaurant, we are offering authentic Italian food and authentic Italian hospitality. Bite and Go Italian Bistro opened earlier this year at 62 Dunlop St. West in downtown Barrie, across from the Uptown Theater.
“Are you meat-eater, seafood-eater or vegetarian? No problem, It’s like home! We are flexible. We can make whatever our guests want, not just what you see in our Menu.”
There are a variety of pastas from which to choose, including penne, spaghetti, fusilli, linguini, gnocchi and fettucini. There are also a variety of sauces, including tomato, rose, pesto and meat. “Pick your pasta, pick your sauce,”.
The menu also has lasagna, cannelloni, veal, chicken and eggplant parmigiana, a variety of sandwiches and seafood, including grilled salmon and mussels. Everything is made fresh, not from cans.
There are numerous salads, including seafood, and a variety of appetizers. We really recommend the rice balls, a special Sicilian dish. Also available is antipasto all-Italiano, which includes salami, ham, prosciutto, capiccollo, mixed cheeses and olives.
After your meal sample one of our desserts, including tiramisu, or enjoy an espresso or cappuccino. Wine, beer, and a variety of other beverages are available as well.
Bite and Go Italian Bistro is currently open Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. or until our last customer leaves.
