We’ve got you covered with the Simcoe County Real Estate Market Update March 2024! With the weather warming up, we are experiencing some of the traditional ‘spring market’ in Simcoe County with increased sales volume and home prices creeping up. For Simcoe County as a whole, the number of home sales is up 18.17% over February 2024, with the average sales price showing a modest 3.77% increase in the same time frame. Year over year sales are still below par from March 2023, with 1.35% less sales this year. Pricing, however, is still up year over year by 2.07%.
We are seeing markets like Barrie, Essa, Innisfil, Orillia and Oro-Medonte showing an increase in sales volume from this time last year, while Bradford, Clearwater and Springwater have all had fewer sales in the same time frame.
