For many, Wasaga Beach conjures up memories of summer vacations and days spent building

Many of the very traditional beach town staples are still on offer in Wasaga Beach, such as miniputt

Skydive Wasaga Beach. For those looking to stick with a more leisurely pursuit, Wasaga Beach
is home to plenty of golf courses. Marlwood Golf & Country Club, Wasaga Sands Golf &
Country Club and Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club offer a variety of course difficulties and
scenery for players of all skill levels.

For locals and visitors looking to venture a little farther out, entertainment and recreation
opportunities can be found in nearby communities. Collingwood is home to Scenic Caves
Nature Adventures, offering cave exploring, a 420 foot suspension bridge, zip lining and more.
Many breweries, distilleries and ciders have popped up in and around Collingwood in recent
years that can be explored individually or by joining in on a brewery Tour. For more family-
oriented fun, the Elmvale Jungle Zoo provides an up close and personal experience with
animals ranging from big cats to exotic birds and everything in between.

Cold weather activities

Often overlooked, winter is a wonderful time of year to enjoy Wasaga Beach. The Wasaga
Beach Provincial Park Nordic and Trail Centre has over 30 Kilometres of groomed trails for
cross country skiing, ski skating and snowshoeing. Snowmobilers will also find adventure in
Wasaga Beach. The Wasaga Beach Snowmobile Club Trail has 159 Kilometres of trails to ride
on. Downhill skiing is also a popular draw for Wasaga Beach residents as the town is nestled
between two great hills, Blue Mountain and Mount St. Louis Moonstone.

For day-to-day recreation, Wasaga Beach’s Rec-Plex, YMCA and Wasaga Stars Arena offer
recreational programming for residents of all ages.
